Ryan joined the group in December 2012 and completed his written doctoral exams in May 2014. Ryan is working on tannin-detergent-metal interactions.
Xiaowei joined our group in August 2013. She is a student in the Cellular, Molecular and Structural Biology program (CMSB) and is working on salivary mucins and their interactions with tannins.
Mary Allison Geibel (class of 2015) is working on eludidating the relationship between antioxidant activity and protein precipitation for structually defined tannins. Mary Allison recieved an Undergraduate Summer Scholars award to support her continued work during summer 2013, and is a Dean's Scholar for 2014-15. Congratulations Mary Allison!
Rebecka Sepela (class of 2015) is working on the relationship between antioxidant activity and protein precipitation for structurally defined tannins. Rebecka was awarded a Hughes fellowship to continue her work during summer 2013, and an Undergraduate Summer Scholar award for summer 2014. She is also a Dean's Scholar for 2014-2015, and recieved the Hershberger scholarship. Congratulations Rebecka!!
Bridget DeLiberato (class of 2015) is a biochemistry major with interests in research and medical school. Bridget is working on tannin-mucin interactions. During summer 2013 and 2014, she was a ROSE Fellow at University of Cincinnati Medical School.
