| Miami Graduate Win IUPAC Prize for Young Chemists |

The International union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) has awarded Shengqian Ma, a recent Miami Ph.D. graduate, the IUPAC Prize for Young Chemists. This prestigious award is given based on the student's graduate research. Read more about the award here. Research for Shengqian's graduate thesis on work done in the emerging field of porous metal organic frameworks for the purpose of gas storage was conducted in the laboratory of Joe Zhou. |
